Family Fun...

These past two weekends have been filled with time with loved ones...and we are so blessed. First, Jaime and his family and Fernando and fam. came in to visit. After an awesome time in church (we had guest evangelist Tim Storey), we all went out to eat great Mexican food and hang out at our apartment. Irene was also able to join us since she lives just across town now. And so I decided to run out and buy a Tres Leches cake so that we could celebrate Mom's birthday early. We had a lovely time visiting and hanging out.

Yesterday we traveled to C-City for Tio Junior's birthday party. We got to see Jennifer and Gabriela who we hadn't seen in quite some time. The food was great and we got to visit outside under the patio covering as the rain poured on. It was really entertaining seeing all the precious babies...the next generation playing together...Nicholas, Natalie, Gabriela, Gabriel, Martin, and Xander. Here are some pictures we took over the last two weeks.

The Duck Pond...

The past weekend Fernando, Sharon and the boys came down and spent the weekend in Odessa. On Sunday after church and eating Rosa's we took the Martin and Gabriel to the duck pond across from the mall. It was a beautiful afternoon. The boys fed bread to the ducks (Martin ate more of it himself). Here are some pics we took.

Wii Night

The other night we babysat our nieces, so it was the perfect time to put the Wii to test; except for Dahlia, we all demonstrated our athletic abilities in front of the TV. I am happy to report that Isabela was the only one that got a good whack compliment of Bianca (accidentally), but she is ok, and the remote, too. The girls: Nadia, Bianca, Sydney, and Isabela started with a game of golf. “9 holes” I thought; “I’ll be playing in no time…wrong!!!” Dahlia and I got so bored that after finishing the pizza, and dragging her baby throughout the apartment, we sat down and shared a grapefruit. The most popular game was… none!; Nadia liked bowling ‘cause she won, Bianca liked baseball ‘cause she won, Sydney liked tennis ‘cause she won, and Isabela liked boxing ‘cause she won. After a few hours Dahlia, Isabela, and Nadia were sharing a piece of the couch completely unaware that Bianca, Sydney, and I were playing for the tennis championship.
