Claudia's Graduation, May 30th

Yesterday evening we were in Loraine for Claudia's high school graduation. It's hard to believe our baby is now a graduate. I can remember the day she was born so vividly and now she's all grown up. She looked so pretty last night in her cap and gown.

The graduation ceremony was nice and we ended the evening by singing the school song with "Ls" in the air. I'm proud to say that I still know all the words to the Loraine school song. Afterwards, we all went to Sara and Jesse's for a graduation party. We had a great time hanging out. It was great to see the family especially those we don't get to see too often like Tommy, Cindy, Liza and others. We had a lovely time.

Congratulations Claudia...we love you!

Sebastian's 5th Birthday Party

Last weekend we all headed ap to Garland for Sebastian's birthday party. Sebastian is Ulisses's cousin Selene's son. He is such a sweet little boy who loves anything in the color red, Spider man motorcycles, and dinosaurs. Lisset's girls, especially Isabella, are very close to him and they had a great time playing together. We all had a great time visiting and eating great food outside in spite of the humidity. We hope to be able to visit again soon. Here are some pictures from the party.

Tito Graduates

Tito Graduates May 10th

This past weekend the family headed up to Stephenville for Tito's graduation. We had such a blessed time. It was a time to celebrate! My brother, Tito, worked at it hard and was the only one in his graduation class to earn an International Agriculture Services degree. I can't describe the pride I felt when I heard them anounce "Oscar Daniel Baeza" and saw him recieve his diploma in his cap and gown. Tito is a great little big brother to me and to see him live life to his full potential is a gift from God. I know great things are in store for him...you know when we were children Papa would often sit us down and explain to us that he expected four college degrees from his four children...and today we see the power of the spoken word...and of a spoken expectation....as of last Sunday it's three down, one to go.

Congratulations Tito...we love you! Here are some pics taken that eventful day.

Favorite Teacher

last week was a good one for losvales. On Tuesday we got to go to the Awards for Excellence, Nadia taught she had to give a speech because she nominated a student of hers, we get there and not only she didn't had to give a speech but she got the Award for Excellence as a Favorite Teacher in the Foreign Language department.
Then two nights later we went to another dinner this time she was getting her Five Year pin, even though she has been teaching for six years. We had a good week(not because we ate out) but it because it reminded me how lucky I am for being with Nadia.
(sorry, I don't have pictures)
