Last weekend Ace Keele and Chandra Duke were married in Midland. Ulisses was one of the groomsmen. Ace is a great army buddy of his...in fact he was in our wedding party. Chandra told me something neat at the rehearsal dinner...she said that she had only been dating Ace two weeks when he took her as a date to our wedding...and here they were two and a half years later...getting married!

The wedding was outdoors and the weather was beautiful...it took place right at sunset. Afterwards the dinner and dance were held at the elegant Cuthbert Mansion. Everything was really beautiful.

We had a blast at the dance...hanging out with army friends and their wives or girlfriends. Ulisses and danced a lot too. It was a lot of fun.

Congratulations Ace and Chandra Keele...may God bless your marriage!

Puzzles...

About a month ago, Andrea came to spend the weekend with us. We all went to Walmart to buy a puzzle for us to do together...I can't remember the last time I'd done a puzzle! We had a bit of a hard time picking one out though...Ulisses wanted one with train on it...Andrea and I wanted something pretty with flowers...a beautiful Thomas Kinkade puzzle. We out voted Ulisses. However, the 750 piece puzzle, turned out to be much more of a challenge than we had anticipated. Andrea and I helped out a little and then became a little discouraged...Ulisses, it turns out, is good at puzzles. He wouldn't quit until he finished it...and he did! I think next time we'll let him pick out the puzzle. (lol)

Jessica's Visit...

A few weeks back I was able to see my wonderful friend Jessica. Micheal had a softball game in Midland...and even though I missed the game I was able to hang out with them some. They invited me to eat at Texas Road House. It was great visiting and catching up with the Carrion family. Maddy is such a beautiful little girl...who was a little shy around me. My only regret is we didn't take any pictures together... oh well next time!

Happy Belated Birthday Jessica...love you!

Gail Visit...

Mom and Gabriel...
having fun with Tio Tito...

playing under the blankets...

Two weekends ago Mom, Tito and I went to Gail to visit Fernando's family. We got the sweetest reception from the boys...they screamed and were trying to talk to us...and Martin shut the door behind us when we got in...too cute... We weren't there long but it was a nice visit. The boys played with Tito alot...and then were off to take a nap. We hope to see Gabriel and Martin soon...we already miss them!
